Welcome to the Edmonton Chapter of the Attachment Parenting Group
We have a great community of parents, mothers, fathers, and the children that make them happy. Why do we do what we do? Well, it really boils down to one word. Love. Sure that sounds saccharine sweet, and corny, but it really does allow us to raise confident and loving youngsters. Spend some time on our site, attend our seminars, read the articles, but really make your own decisions about parenting. Our hope is that you not only will ask some questions on societal norms, but will apply your own findings to raising of our future generation.

Great conference
Our conference last month was a resounding success. We had very steady attendance, with little advertising besides the generous ad placed in the Birth Issues magazine. Our generous sponsors who provided door prizes, gift packs and much much more. Also additional thanks to all the volunteers who helped put this together as well as our great lineup of guest speakers. Pictures of the event will be going up soon, as well as additional attachment parenting material, so stay tuned!
Attachment Parenting Conference Tomorrow!
We're all incredibly excited about our first annual AP conference. As we mentioned before, we'll be at the Four Points Sheraton, and doors open at 9:30. We've been busily preparing for the past couple of months, and were at the hotel this evening prepping for the vendors, seminars, and the general layout. Tonight, the kids had a blast dancing to the military band that was playing next door as the adults set up at the venue. Remember that there is free Parking, Door Prizes, and fun for the entire family!
The weather forecast for tomorrow is rain with a trace of snow in the morning, with some sun in the afternoon. It sounds like a decent day for a conference, so we'll see you all out there! Saturday March the 17th, 2007!
